I started my life afresh by moving back in with my father.
It’s not just for millennials.
After my marriage ended I wasn’t sure what would come next. My father, an 87-year-old widower who played tennis, had a rich community life, and was sharp as a tack, offered to let me move in with him, and I jumped at the chance. The experience put me on a path that would never have happened otherwise.
He passed away at 93 leaving a legacy of wisdom, of vitality, and of seeking out opportunities everywhere. Moving back home was one of the best decisions I ever made.
